Mrs. Serafine was born in Buffalo, NY, but grew up in Key West, Fl. Her Family relocated to the Central Florida area in 1986. Beginning her nursing career in 1999, her experience spans over seventeen years in the areas of hospice case management, hospital medical telemetry, emergency nursing, obstetrics and gynecology, and medical technology clinical integration. She attended Excelsior College in Albany, NY, where she recieved concurrent B.S. in Nursing and M.S. in Nursing informatics degrees in 2015. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts Boston in 2016 with her Primary Care Nurse Practioner Degree. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practioner and Joined Maitland Family Practice in 2017. She and her husband Tommy have six wonderful adult children, two daughters, Jenna and Hailey, and four sons, Tyler, Johnny, Adam, and Ryan.
